Why a subscription at all: every Ask question and scan runs on a large AI model Tempered pays for by the query. You never bring your own API key, and your data is never sold to offset it.

Subscriptions are real Stripe subscriptions, managed from Settings → Account inside the app, or from your account page here. Cancel any time; the free tier keeps working. 14-day refund on your first charge, no questions asked.
Free trial: 7 days (Torque, monthly). Started from inside the app with a card on file; nothing is charged until day 7, when it becomes $7.99 a month unless you cancel before then. During the trial, deep scans are capped at 3 of each (4 for Security & malware); quick scans and the Ask budget are Torque's normal daily amounts. One trial per person.
